THE 2024 DC ALUMNI CUP

Introducing the DC Alumni Cup, a 7 v 7 tournament fundraiser for Open Goal Project, featuring teams of alumni from local DC area high schools, competing for city-wide bragging rights.

While final details are still being finalized, here’s some information about the event:

The tournament is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 6 in DC (time and location TBD).
Teams can register with a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 12 players.
The tournament will be co-ed, with a requirement to have a minimum of two players on the field at all times of either gender.
While there’s no “sign up fee” for individual players, each team will be required to fundraise through their network, with all of the tax-deductible donations raised going directly to Open Goal Project and our mission to provide equity in youth travel soccer. Donations will be used to support the growth of Open Goal Project’s 100% free-to-play youth travel soccer club, DCFC.
Registration will require teams to use custom team fundraising pages, with each team’s goal being set at $2,500.
Yes, more than one team of alumni from any specific school can be entered.
